Halloween is nearly here and what could be better than picking your very own Pumpkin. That’s why we have put together some great places where you can spend the day with all the family picking and crafting your own little or large Pumpkin.
Let your little ones meet Spiderman as he tries to find his arch nemisis, Jack O’Lantern! Pick your pumpkin to see if it turns into the dreaded villan!

The PYO Pumpkin Patch will be open for the weekend of Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th October, and then for the whole of the half-term holidays from Saturday 21st to Sunday 29th October
Kenyon Hall Farm – Warrington

Every Halloween they go pumpkin crazy! Farmer Tod grows 10,000 pumpkins for you to go and Pick Your Own*, or you can choose one ready-picked from their enormous display.
When you’ve chosen your favourite pumpkin you can either take it home and carve it, or stay at the farm and let Winnie the Witch and her team of helpers guide you through it. They also have a range of Halloween treats, spooky story time with Mrs Pumpkin and face painting often available.
Entry into the fields is free. We charge for the pumpkins by size (from £1 to £10+) and entry to the carving festival is £3.

Garswood Pumpkin Patch – Wigan
Garswood Pumpkin Patch is a family run business which has been growing pumpkins for the last three years.
This year it has opened up the fields to the general public, so you can go along and have a fun day out while picking a pumpkin.
Families can pick their own pumpkins from now until Sunday – and each one costs £3 regardless of size.
It is open from 10am until 4.30pm this Thursday and Friday and until 5pm at weekend.

Pumpkin Carving is back at Brockholes!
Pick your pumpkin from their Pumpkin Carving Room (£3.00 each). They will have lots of ideas to get you started, plus all the tools and equipment you need at our pumpkin carving station.
No booking required, just drop in anytime between 10.00am and 12.00 noon and then 1.00pm – 4.00pm. This is a very popular activity, so we advise you to get to Brockholes early. Morning sessions are usually quieter than the afternoons.
Entry to the Pumpkin Carving Room is £1.00 per person with under 2’s free
You may get a little messy so come dressed with that in mind!
Children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult
